The bakery bakes over 20 different types of French breads. They have a special of the month and ensure a high standard of quality. The bakery operates 4 days a week with only fresh ingredients, pure and natural. The baking is done with poolish, sourdough, and other high qulity ingredients. The bakery produces a line of viennoiseries including croissants, chocolatine, apple turnovers, brioche, and a few more, always trying a new tart, or swirl to change things around once in a while. The viennoiseries are not organic, however, the bakery uses only pure ingredients, example butter, not margarine and pure chocolate and other pure ingredients.
In addition, the bakery offers a variety of cheeses at local markets as an extra bonus for the consumer. They come for the bread and when they see the cheese, it compliments it well.
Our breads and viennoiseries can be found year round at The Halifax Brewery Market, Wolfville Market, Mahone Bay Market, Planet Organic, Petes Frootique (both locations), the Italian Gourmet and Italian Market as well as Mariposa in Tantallon and a few other locations in the Halifax area. The bakery markets to several restaurants in Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Tantallon, Wolfville, Annapolis, Halifax and Dartmouth. From mid-spring until the end of autumn, the bakery products can be found at farmers markets in Lunenburg, Annapolis Royal, Hubbards, and Musquoidobit.
They pride themselves on keeping the European style artisan baking alive in our modern day. The bakery never compromises quantity for the quality and ensures a high standard of products and service.
